Paul I. Franklin is Founder and Principal of Franklin Capital Strategies which specializes in the protection, accumulation, and distribution of wealth to individuals, families, small businesses, entrepreneurs, and professional athletes throughout the country. Paul coordinates planning efforts on behalf of the firm’s clients in areas such as investments, insurance and estate planning. Paul began his career as a third-generation Adviser with New York Life later affiliating with Eagle Strategies, LLC. He holds a FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, and 66 in addition to his Life, Health, and Annuity licenses.

In addition to running Franklin Capital Strategies, Paul is an active high school football coach in the DC Metro area, currently coaching at Maret School. When Paul is not in the office or out meeting with clients, the best place to find him is on the football field either coaching or learning from other great teams and coaches throughout the country. Prior to joining the financial services business, Paul was a Campaign Associate at The Potomac School in McLean, VA.

Paul is an active volunteer in the local community and within the financial services industry. He is a member of the Greater Washington Jewish Federation Allocations Committee which makes recommendations on local, national, and overseas allocations for the following fiscal year. Paul also represents New York Life as a Political Involvement Leader, serving as a liaison between the Office of Government Affairs and his local office. Paul is also an active member of The Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), The Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU), and The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) where he served as a volunteer board member (Greater Washington Chapter) in charge of political outreach in the state of Virginia. He previously served as Assistant Vice President of the Alumni Board for George Mason University’s Schar School of Public Policy.

Paul holds a M.P.P. in Public Policy from George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government and a B.A. in Business Management from Washington College. He currently resides in Arlington, Virginia with his wife Andrea, their daughter Madeleine, and their dog Bernie.
